Hearts Break does not require you to create an account or sign in to play.
Device access
Hearts Break does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise iOS Location Services. Analytics and advertising providers may receive network information that can be used to estimate a coarse region.
Information stored on your device
The app stores local preferences and game information so your setup is ready the next time you play. This may include sound settings, table and deck choices, difficulty, recent match recaps, Remove Ads entitlement state, and a generated analytics installation identifier.
Optional gameplay analytics
Gameplay analytics is off by default. If you enable Share Gameplay Analytics in Settings, Hearts Break uses PostHog to understand play patterns, evaluate balance, and improve reliability.
Analytics may include a generated installation identifier, app and build information, timezone, timestamps, gameplay events, settings, scores, outcomes, and related game properties. The generated identifier is not your name, email, Apple Account, or advertising identifier, but it associates events from the same installation.
You can turn gameplay analytics off again in Settings. Hearts Break does not use this analytics data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Hearts Break offers an optional, one-time Remove Ads purchase. Apple may process transaction information under its own policies. Hearts Break does not receive your full payment card details.
Advertising & consent
Hearts Break uses Google Mobile Ads to show interstitial ads to free players after completed rounds. Google services may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising and app interactions, crash data, and performance data, depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and Google’s practices.
The app uses Google User Messaging Platform to present and manage consent choices where required. Purchasing Remove Ads stops ads from being shown in Hearts Break.
Third-party policies
Apple, Google, and PostHog services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
